ways to partner with us

DONATE

We are so grateful for our donors. Your donations allow us to invest in important medical equipment and educational supplies while keeping medical treatment and school fees affordable for the Namalemba community.

We are currently raising money for three needs:

1) A van ($12,000 USD): This van will be life-saving for medical patients who need urgent transportation to a comprehensive hospital. It will also help us transport school and clinic equipment.

2) Church construction ($8000 USD): Our temporary tin and wood structure has been compromised by termites, so we are in the process of building a brick structure to better protect church members.

3) Teacher Housing: Any additional funds will go towards providing housing for the teachers at Daystar School. Schools in rural areas are expected to provide housing for their teachers, and we've recently lost two highly skilled teachers due to inadequate housing. Building quality housing will help us attract and retain excellent educators, which means kids receive excellent instruction.

Ways to Donate:

1. Tax-deductible for US residents: Set up a one-time or recurring donation through The Forgotten International and specify that the donation is for Daystar Evangelical Ministries. More info.

2. Tax-deductible for US, the UK, Canada, Ireland, and Australia: Donate to the Daystar E.M. GoFundMe account

3.  Contact us to discuss other options.

tell your friends

As a small community organization, we don't have much budget for fundraising and marketing. We need you to help us spread the word as God enlarges a family of global partners supporting the vulnerable in Uganda.

volunteer

There are plenty of volunteer needs and opportunities at our Namalemba site. Depending on your interests and skill set, we can use help in Uganda teaching English, volunteering in the clinic, and leading job training classes. Remotely, we are also seeking help with our website and social media presence. Please contact us for more information about our volunteer application process!

visit

Uganda is a beautiful place to visit, and while you're here, spend a day with us at Daystar Home. We'll take you on a guided tour of our school, clinic, farm, and church. Come hear stories of transformed lives and see how your support is changing Uganda. Please contact us for more information about setting up a visit.
